Last Thursday, July 14th, Joshua Liner Gallery celebrated the debut of Stephen Powers’ murals entitled “Flights of Genius’ commissioned by OgilvyArt. Powers’ work is on permanent display in the stairways of Ogilvy & Mather’s headquarters in Manhattan. The murals are based on quotes by the legendary adman, Daivd Ogilvy. Guests were invited to a screening of “A Love Letter For You”, a docu-drama directed by Joey Garfield named for Powers’ ongoing mural project based in Philadelphia.

After the screening, guests were invited to the rooftop deck overlooking the Hudson River. Friends and Family of the artist were in attendance, as well as other JLG artists such as Tony Curanaj, David Ellis, Greg Lamarche, and Ryan McLennan. The day after this celebration, Powers began work on “A Love Letter For You” in Downtown Brooklyn.
