Tiffany Bozic Commissioned to make work for The Permanent Collection of the US Embassy, Swaziland

This new piece by Tiffany Bozic, entitled Coming Together, was commissioned by the US Department of State to reside in the US Embassy in Mbabane, Swaziland, as part of their permanent collection. The acrylic on maple panel painting is Bozic's second largest work ever produced, at an impressive 72 x 36 inches. Coming Together is comprised of Swaziland's native flora and fauna. Congratulations Tiffany on this incredible achievement!

Kris Kuksi Interview on Buzzworthy

Kris Kuksi has a great new interview out this week with Buzzworthy in which he talks about the origins of his practice, his studio, and the underlying themes in his intricate assemblages. From the feature: "In 1995 I had made my first assemblage and it was a success. I couldn’t take it seriously though, as I was such a gung-ho purest for painting, so it took me until 2004 to have a friend urge me to make another sculpture." Enjoy the full article here.
