Stephen Powers on Curbed NY

Photobucket
Curbed brings us this great video from The Atlantic of Stephen Powers and his Brooklyn Love Letters. In speaking of the Macy's parking garage he transformed, Powers say, "Really, it's one of the ugliest pieces of architecture I've ever had the pleasure of decorating. It's just built for vandalism. Happy to do it." Full article available here.

FOLKLORE on Art Fuse

Photobucket
Thanks to Art Fuse and Oscar Laluyan for the great review of FOLKLORE, "With a touch of Folk Art but blowing it out of the water from the previous impression of the genre. It retains the spirit but has been rebooted to Contemporary Folk." Have a look at the full article over on their site and enjoy some of the installation views of the exhibition for those who can't make it to Chelsea. Photo courtesy Art Fuse and Max Noy.
