Greg Lamarche will be featured in an upcoming exhibit entitled 'New Wallworks' at the Maryland Art Place. MAP is a non-profit center for contemporary arts located in Baltimore, Maryland. Opening April 20th, 'New Wallworks' is an exhibition meant to explore the boundaries between painting and sculpture.
From the MAP press release:
The exhibition includes works executed directly on the wall, works pinned or mounted to the wall, and works attached to the wall as if the wall were acting as a pedestal. There is no uniformity of materials; the exhibition includes works in painted frames, ink on Plexiglas, video and found wood.
Lamarche's addition will be a new work from his 'Corner Series' (one of which is pictured above.)
Read more information from the 'New Wallworks' Press Release .
Lamarche will be exhibiting new works at the Joshua Liner Gallery Summer Group Exhibition this August.
